Bajaj launches Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R and ZX 14R in India
Bajaj launches Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R and ZX 14R superbikes for the Indian roads. The beasts have been priced at above Rs. 15.7 lakh in the country.
Bajajauto India has launched two of its best bikes for the Indian roads. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R and Ninja ZX 14R has been launched in India in Pune yesterday.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R is a sports with aggressive seating and loud profile. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line Four 998 cc engine with digital ignition.
The bike Sports-KTRC traction control and a standard fit electronic steering damper. It also sports Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock brake system (KIBS) and three power modes - Full (100 percent), Middle (75 percent) and Low (50 percent).
The super bike boasts a 147.1kW {200.1PS} / 13000 rpm maximum power and a maximum torque of 11500 rpm. The bike has a fuel tank with 17 L capacity and can attain a top speed of 300 KM/hour.
There are horizontal Back-link with gas-charged shock and top-out spring compression damping. It also has dual-range (high/low-speed) rear suspension. The front suspension is a 43 mm inverted fork rebound and compression damping, spring preload adjustability and top-out springs.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX 14R sports curved lines and rounded surfaces especially along the front profile in its new design creates dynamic surfaces curved and sharp edges that contribute to its beastly looks.
To match the beastly looks, the bike is powered by a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 16 valve DOHC (four valve per cylinder) In-Line Four 1441 cc engine that enjoys digital fuel ignition. The engine offers a six-speed transmission and one gets a the Sports-KTRC traction-control system and Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock brake system like the ZX 10R and features three different selectable modes.
In order to reduce unwanted engine vibration, ensuring a supremely smooth 1441 cc engine, this bike is equipped with dual secondary balancers.
The bike has got dual semi-floating 310 mm petal discs with dual radial-mounted four-piston calipers front brakes. The rear brakes is a single 250mm petal disc with twin-piston caliper.
Price
The Ninja ZX-10R will cost Rs. 15.7 lakh and the Ninja ZX-14R will come at a price of Rs. 16.9 lakh. (Both prices are ex-showroom Pune).
Where to book?
The two bikes will be sold through dedicated Kawasaki showroom and bookings for the bike would commence from September 5, that's today.
In India only the green colour option will be shipping in. The first exclusive Kawaski showroom will open in Wakdewadi, Pune on September 7. The two will come for sale only in Maharashtra initially, followed by release in other cities and states.
